This day is dedicated to the international conference <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"><em><strong>In Search of the Rose Garden: Implementing Real Alternatives to Psychiatry<\/strong><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\"> in order to offer opportunities for exchange among people affected by psychiatry. We would like to discuss together and among ourselves how our experiences and knowledge can be used to develop a better way of dealing with madness and crises, as well as a different understanding of help.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Here are some topics we would like to discuss depending on the interest of the participants, but everyone is welcome to bring in their own topics.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">What terms do we use to describe ourselves?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">What do we need to be able to support others?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">What does help mean?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Living in assisted living facilities<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Psychiatric patients on the first job market<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Full responsibility or special rights?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Our role in the trialogue<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Possibilities of cooperation with relatives<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Cooperation with professionals<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Role of psychiatry patients in projects controlled by the patient<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">What does the diagnosis do to the self-image?<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">The dilemma of weaning<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Experiences of violence and psychiatry<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Argument culture and cooperation among affected persons<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Experiences of clients in affected-controlled projects<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Psychiatric patients and research<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Self-medication through alcohol and illegal drugs<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Dealing with legal care<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Access to legal advice<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Job center and psychiatry<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Living in poverty<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Psychiatric experience and parenthood<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">We have chosen the method of the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">World Caf\u00e9 because it allows conversations in small groups on their own choice of topics. The World Caf\u00e9 creates a space where the experiences and ideas of the participants can be brought in. At the beginning of the day, this method of working will be explained in detail to everyone. Previous knowledge is not necessary. Every person affected by psychiatry is welcome and it is up to each person how much he\/she wants to contribute.
