The Weglaufhaus “Villa Stöckle” is an anti-psychiatric crisis facility in the north of Berlin. It offers homeless people or people acutely threatened by homelessness in crises the opportunity to escape the psychiatric system and take their lives back into their own hands. Like the project’s sponsor and initiator, the Verein zum Schutz vor psychiatrischer Gewalt e.V. (Association for Protection against Psychiatric Violence). , the Weglaufhaus is also controlled by those affected.
